Investment News

This section of the website contains media coverage related to each state's use of RGGI auction proceeds. Proceeds from the sale of RGGI allowances total more than $494.4 million since the first RGGI auction in September of 2008. The states are investing proceeds in programs that promote energy efficiency, support renewable energy innovation and deployment, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and help consumers control energy costs.
